What a magical place! It was a peaceful week a getaway. Genevieve and Z Staff ranch go above and beyond to make this place spectacular. I cannot wait to come back.

My husband and I wanted to do something a little different to celebrate our anniversary. We have four kids, 1 night for just us two and we didn't want to drive to far outside of San Antonio. We love nature so Hotels were absolutely a no go for us. Browsing options, I ran into this place... AND I am so glad I did. It was great. The openness, fresh air, the night sky. It was all great. Genieve was absolutely amazing. Responsive, kind, and her little touches to welcome you and your guest made everything that much better. I would book it if I was you! No questions, no thoughts. Just BOOK IT. You will not regret it.

We had an amazing time! Everything was perfect & left us with many amazing memories - like laying in the hammock watching the stars, to hiking on the trail and making smores at the campfire. Everything was super clean. Great host as well with very responsive communication and a video to help check in & get familiar with the place. Definitely will be back again!

My wife and I stayed here for a night because we wanted the peace of being outdoors but the comfort of sleeping in A/C and on a mattress. This place exceeded our expectations. The hammock was a beautiful place to lay and star gaze while listening to crickets. The snacks/drinks and breakfast was the cherry on top, making it even cozier. The experience was very romantic and exactly what we needed after a long week.

The stay was wonderful - she had provided a bunch of surprise goodies to make us feel at home and the outdoor shower was my favorite! 😍 Will definitely be back in the fall / winter months! 5 star host!

We stayed 2 nights at Estrella 1 and absolutely loved it! It was a perfect balance of private camping and city closeness. The communication and attention to detail from Genieve exceeded our expectations. She was absolutely amazing and we will definitely be back. We highly recommend this place to anyway looking to enjoy some alone time or to simply reset. Be sure to walk the trails as the property overall is peaceful.

Genieve really worked so hard to make this place perfect! There are a million little touches and thoughtful considerations. Stunning views and great local vibe. We really enjoyed the area. The check in process was so seamless.

We traveled here from California. As nature lovers, it was a no brainer for us to stay here as we explored the SA area. We found our way to Z Ranch fairly easy. Checking in was smooth. Genieve kept clear communication with us throughout our stay and made sure we had everything we needed and then some. She went above and beyond. The continental breakfast was a nice touch. It was amazing waking up and enjoying our breakfast with coffee outdoors while listening to the birds chirp away. The place is beautiful and peaceful. We hope to make our way back in the future.

What a lovely visit! We stayed on an overcast night so we didn't get to see the stars, but it was still a cozy and peaceful stay. We will definitely be back for the full experience
