315 sq ft safari tent with air condition and seasonal wood burning stove. Attached shower with hot water and bathroom with full flushing toilet.

Other Details to Note

The road leading to the parking is rocky/bumpy. Be prepared to walk to the campsite from the designated parking location. This walk is about 250 feet. Comfortable, closed toe shoes are encouraged. No shoes inside of the tent/tents. Hiking trail on the premises.

We had an absolutely wonderful time. From all the thoughtful details and amenities to the prompt communication, the entire stay was definitely something I would recommend. We cooked a great meal on the open fire (the smores were a great touch!) and brought our big blanket from home so we could cuddle up in the hammock and watch the stars in the cool night air. If you're looking for a romantic getaway or just a chance to disconnect from the world for a bit, this is the perfect place.

We absolutely loved our stay at Estrella 1. Even with the rainy weather it was cozy and comfy. Genieve goes above and beyond to make sure every little detail is perfect, from our names in the welcome board to breakfast delivery in the morning, it was all perfect!

Spent a night here with my girlfriend for valentines day. Genieve was very responsive and accommodating. She gave us free smores and breakfast! The tent was clean, well decorated, and beautiful. The bathroom and shower were clean and fun to use. We enjoyed the hammock to watch clouds

My husband and I wanted to do something a little different to celebrate our anniversary. We have four kids, 1 night for just us two and we didn't want to drive to far outside of San Antonio. We love nature so Hotels were absolutely a no go for us. Browsing options, I ran into this place... AND I am so glad I did. It was great. The openness, fresh air, the night sky. It was all great. Genieve was absolutely amazing. Responsive, kind, and her little touches to welcome you and your guest made everything that much better. I would book it if I was you! No questions, no thoughts. Just BOOK IT. You will not regret it.

We had an amazing time! Everything was perfect & left us with many amazing memories - like laying in the hammock watching the stars, to hiking on the trail and making smores at the campfire. Everything was super clean. Great host as well with very responsive communication and a video to help check in & get familiar with the place. Definitely will be back again!

The stay was wonderful - she had provided a bunch of surprise goodies to make us feel at home and the outdoor shower was my favorite! 😍 Will definitely be back in the fall / winter months! 5 star host!
